Hey that's a cool avatar! Yeah - if you wanna tune that B-19 and keep it at 12fpe or less, we'll do what we can to help you through the process. All airgunners are welcomed here!

I've heard a lot of good things about those rifles, especially after they're tuned. I haven't shot one yet, but am keeping my eyes and ears open for one should it come my way...

You know when I first got into airgunning, velocity is what sold me my first Gamo. I couldn't even shoot myself with that thing. After spending many months learning to properly shoot a spring rifle and shooting dozens of others, some of my favorites were in the mid range of power. I believe my G1 shot around 11-12 fpe but I could drive nails in with that thing at 20 yards. I just did a tune on her and am working out some setbacks right now and hopefully I can get her back to where she was and better. This thread made me realize something I didn't think about earlier. I'm gonna post an update on my G1 tune thread...

You got all your tools ready for the job? My G1 is really the first airgun I've gone to 3rd base with, but most of the other guys here have had orgies and are pros at this.

Well I just went at mine without looking back. But while you're pulling things apart take photos as you go so if you ever get lost when reassembling it, you can refer back to your photos. How many shots old is she?

not that many,i'd guess around 150,or about 2 dozen woodies and a couple of rabbits:D

Well I'd say pull her apart and take a look to see how the stock parts are holding up. I'm pretty sure a lube tune alone will quiet her down quite a bit - it did for my G1. Pre-tune it was the typical spring grinding sound when cocking and then a loud *twoing* when fired. It's amazing what some simple procedures can do...
