out the box she shot preds at 540fps.
i found a seal at the bottom of the tube as well as the one on the piston.
after the tune she was hittin 680 fps, still junk.
so Paul needs to put on his cape and knock this out.
i have a plan but i need to keep it under my hat untill the deed is done, then we will unvail it and claim sweet victory.

this means i need to toss the 16grain predator at 920 fps.

What's he going to put in it, the front right coil spring off a Ford F350? That thing should kick some serious butt.:rockon:

i think 30fpe is stretching it a bit 25 is doable i think.

the problem with the TAC1 out the box is it is the same power plant as the G1.
the spring the piston the math is all the same.
so how is this thing ever gonna shoot 800fps:confused::confused::confused:

I don't know what you get with the compressible length of the spring, but if you made a shorter piston that would take advantage of all but the cocking slot, you may gain some stroke. You'd still probably end up with a harsh shooter though. I'm all ears on this one. This ought to be an interesting project.

the compessable length of the spring is 102mm.
the piston is going to be moded but not the length of it.

You'll suceed because you are thinking outside the box.. That's the way we have always done it lives inside the box...

my numbers/math says 980 max....and thats spring braking with in 50 shots.......but we building....go for it guns.

920 fps with 16 grain is 30 fpe
840 fps is 25 fpe
