Hey those setups are for mainly indoor or low light conditions right?

They are for inside in my shop, or if I were out side in a low light environment.I had a single light set up I think it was a 100w quartz light about 5 feet up above my chrony . I thought it worked well but some say I might have been getting wrong #'s, so I made this set up.

I'll be getting a chrony soon. If I use it during the day outside when the sun is bright I should be okay right?

here's how i did mine.

i gotta make me a light rig like you guys. no sun since friday here so crony shots outdoors are nill. altho i can buy a thingie for my crony that takes readings in complete darkness for like 90 bucks...but i aint gonna do it.

What size light bulbs are you using for light with this set up, looks good, just need to no light out put

mine are 20 watt halogen under cabinet lights from home depot.
don't let them get to close to the diffusers they will melt them.
the metal rings are sterno cans with the bottom cut out.

when shooting outdoors if you have sun with no clouds you will use the diffusers if you have cloud cover you will not use the diffusers this shoud be all that is needed.
you only need to use lights indoors.

the instructions that are included will explain everything about the chrony use.

Mine are 15w bulbs, The night lites came with 4w but not enough, then I found 15 watters that are the same size.:thumb:
