Thanks to Speed Turtle, the links to Ian Pellant report on pellets gave me so much info it save me from having to ask a lot more questions. It's funny how the more you get in to these air guns the deeper it gets.I was complaining about the performance of the .22 cal and was using the JSB Diabolo Exact at 15.8 grains Now I've tried the RWS Superpoint at 14.5 grains.Big differance. Thanks Miked6762 for the siggestion to try differant pellets. I can see its going to take time to wrap my mind around all the information. Ian Pellant was talking about the small amout of oil use in sport/field air rifles to help propel the pellet. Does this ever run out? I got my GTR111 trigger and like everybody knows, it helped accuracy. At 15yrd about a 1/2" 5 shot groups were before I could get 1/2" group with 2 or 3 and the other 2 or 3 shots were way off. Thanks to this air gun form, I'm getting a long ways quick to figuring all this out.

That's what a forum is for - information sharing. If not for that then we're just a bunch of old fools trying to pretend we know everything.

We still got a long way to understand everything, then arrive to a conclusion that in the end the only way to really be the best that you can be is to be one with your airgun. So much can be done to push your airgun to be perfect - but how about the shooter itself? :D

Way to go barnstorm100. :thumb: We are just walking the same path as you do.
