What rifle would you recommend for under 200 bucks (not counting the scope) that has good quality parts? I don't mind doing a debur and lube tune myself, I just want something that has good, quality made parts and not hit and miss type parts mass stamped in china. Diana 34's come to mind but there's that droop issue. How's the overall rating on Gamo's parts?

Don't count RWS Diana out just because of droop, I have 3 and only one has a shim in the rear ring. I use accushot mounts ,nice and cheep . They all have worked great . My new to me 46 has less droop than my Gamo viper. When I switched scopes from the gamo to the 46 I had to lower the poi. And the person I got it from had posts out there on how to correct it but sold it instead. I don't own a 34 but I will.

"Jon"?? As you well know,,, I am somewhat biased:? The Diana (RWS) 34 is IMO one of the BEST bargain air rifles out there!! Shiming the rear of the scope mount is a NO BRAINER "Fix" (He He!!) to the droop issues. Only a few guns I would HIGHLY recomend,,, the 34 is among them. Word. Tim.

I'm seriously thinking of getting a Panther, but in .177 instead of .22. I do a lot more target shooting than anything. Anytime I hear the word Diana 34 your name always comes to mind. Werd brotha...werd!

I've always been partial to my .177 CFX. Still trying to get my hands on a decent priced panther though.

My Panther is 177 cal. If Ya search the GTA Hunting Gate you will see some pretty good kills with it,, posums,, racoons,, rabits,, nutters,, & 2 Foxes. I wish I still had my 34 in 22 cal!! Tim.
