Well I've fired my Disco now on to a MDR.. Anyone seeing any good prices or is it too soon??

I'm hooked on PCP. That sounds just like a mind altering drug...

The only springer I have that I can shoot half way accurate is my 350 Mag.

I like the Disco too, but mine is too loud to use right now in the neighborhood!

Have you talked to Splash about it?

Damn Moe, that didn't take long. Haven't seen any deals yet. When I talked to Crosman a couple of weeks ago to buy some springs, the lady told me they were seriously behind on filling orders. She also told me that Crosman people had camped out on all the forums and gathered all the comments about the Disco and took all the info into account when they designed the Marauder. Listen to the customer....what a novel approach?

I'll bet there's a lot of dirty laundry across the pond as they scramble to respond! I'm sure the folks at BAM are back to the drawing board too.

Other than being quiiet...its still near the bottom of the PCP pack...
AA/FX/BSA/Daystate/Throben etc..are still at the top &
I can't see a crossman product changeing that...if they weren't so cheap
they would not have the following they have...And its a US product-- mainly
american's that will buy it.....the rest of the world dosn't look on it
with the fondness that american's do...

sorry

PCP are addicting as hell. Point and hit what your aiming at. No recoil no miss! I am entertaining the idea also ! Plus LOTS of power!

Listening to the consumer is the secret to success. I think a $500 dollar gun that performs great will out sell one costing three times as much that has name recognition. Time will tell.

Sorry Pete..

Hey Pete:
I don't disagree with you about which are the best guns but Crosman is going to steal a ton of sales from those guys, especially against their lower priced models. I'm talking about losing market share in the biggest and largely untapped (as far as PCP's) market in the world in tough economic times when every sale counts. Most Americans know who Crosman is and don't know a Daystate from a Theoben. The airgun population is small here compared to more than 260,000,000 privately owned powder burners. Without nukes, all the military in the world combined wouldn't stand a chance against all the crazy heavily armed civilians here. Hah!

Good one Moe, I too can't get enough of my Disco. Finally got it sighted in for nutters this fall with my new scope. This rifle is unreal when it comes to tearing centers out of target. I was shooting RWS 14.5 Superpoints and Beeman 18 gr Crow mag
pellets . This bad boy rocks. I even loaded 2 pellets by mistake and you talking about the holes it made on the shoot-n-see targets look like a shotgun with 00 buck.I got my stock drilled and swivel studs ready for sling.Disco feaver it rocks!!!!
Thumbs!!!!!

You are right about that Moe. I was talking about other countries hitting American soil with say an invasion type tactic.
Like movie Red Dawn for example. It is true with all the sleeper cells and nut cases all ready here it does tend to make a person a little uneasy.

Crosman Premier Hollow Points. Pretty good all around pellet. Hey Moe, I thot that is what you meant. They don't look as if they are off much in grain weight to the RWS pellets depending on which pellet your rifle likes.:thumb:Are you still looking at other PcP-rifles what is calling to you?I know the Disco is an entry level PcP but man what a nice one right? Crossman sure did get this PcP program started to where the average person could affor to get into PcP's and enjoy them as well. Maybe a Marauder or a Quacken -bush in a big bore would be awsome to play and hunt with to many other fires in the oven right now to worry or think about that for now.:cheers::cheers:

Dave the MDR is definitely coming home but I'll wait til the newness and the price subside... I don't blame you on that one:rockon::rockon: It still would be nice to shoot one for the heck of it:cheers::cheers: I wish my gun shop could get one. Their suppliers don't have any as of yet. It's like any other product see how much people want one before going full guns ahead in production. To tell you the truth I still like the Disco may not be as fancy as the bigger brothe: it's a hunting iron at least that's what it is too me!!!:thumb::thumb:

Dave, Splash is working on a nicer looking barrel for my disco. I did talk to him and he made a few changes. He also recommended some different parts that he has for the disco to try for better performance. I cant wait for them. I will let you know what I think when installed. I think you tried pm'ing him in another thread. Great guy to talk too!
