There's always more than one way to skin a cat, nice work. You may want to dremel a groove in the back side, just a bit to reduce friction.

Can you elaborate on the groove and which backside?

i grease groove around the washer face.it will hold grease and self lube as needed.nice JOB J.

i also had to add a shim inbetween the pivot bolt and the detent hold down on my Craig Tuned G1.
i found the fit to be a little sloppy.

Jon, the back side of the washer, where it mates to the breech block. Just a little to help reduce friction and hold some lube.

what factory grease groove?? if your plastic washer has one it cause it was cut in by crappy machine work.

if you want to get insane...cut a phonographic finish on the face.its start is just after the edge and ends just before the inner DIA.edge.just like a LP.as it turns it "screws" the lube on the parts.
