Some time a while back someone asked if the crosman trigger assembly will fit the GAMO, Well folks it is an exact copy and fit. I picked one up from crosman as a demo (sweat talked the sales rep out of one) and matched it up to my CFX and then installed it. It slipped right in and I even cocked the piston to make sure the sear locked in and it did. The down side of the crosman unit is it is made out of what I call "PIG IRON" all the parts are made in China and they are of poor quality as compaired to GAMO's and others. The parts are some what rusted, so there is not much you can do to polise them up because unless you can come up with some kind of protectorent the metal will just rust back up on you. Also the spring guide and several other parts from crosman will also fit the GAMO, if for no other reason then a quick way to replace damaged or broken GAMO parts you can at least get a gamo back up and firing. The parts I was able to get out of a sales rep were for the G1 and they fit the CFX, these are all relativly small items, but it is away around GAMO in a no option situation and have to have in a very short time. When the person asked about the crosman trigger assembly, it made me wounder so I got lucky did some research and was able to get the items most of us might need some day. A complete trigger assembly will cost right around $25.oo so if for some strange reason you might need one it works.
Also note, that a lot of the crosman parts will fit the GAMO if in a pinch, like the little spring for the bear trap, the rear spring guid and the Thrust Washer, the Pin/ Screw/ Bolt Compo that holds the trigger assembly in place. And on the Lever C1K77-022 is the plastic roller and the "U" bushing that prevents metal to metal contact between the cocking lever and the power chamber. So if you all are in a pinch for a lost, broken and or missing small part for a GAMO this is a lagit back door way to get and keep your GAMO's up and running. The only thing is the Thrust Washer that mounts on the rear spring guide is a one piece 3 step solid metal part with a small washer to fit over the spring guide, where the GAMO use's a light weight hollowed out plastic part. I am not to sure what affect this will have on the over all performance of your GAMO Rifle. Just thaught I would pass this infor mation on for anyone that gets into a pinch.

That's good to know brian, thanks for sharing. I did notice the same thing quality-wise, that the gamo parts were a lot better in quality than the crosmans.

Thanks for the heads up Brian. Boe Shield T-9 works great at keeping rust at bay.

Wow, $25 for the trigger assy. I ordered one about a year ago because I F'd up the one I had by trying to make it 'better' and it only set me back about $13. Must be this whole supply/demand thing.
