I havn't been timing myself, I've thought about it..... just havent done it yet. I'm guessing 15 to 20 minuets. If I remember I'll keep track of my time next week.

I shoot a 30 spot target in a springers only postal match, and it takes actually a bit less than 30 minutes... the spots are closer together and you kinda get a rhythm going. (6 down, 5 across)
They are a bitch target. Lower value for score, so perfect is 300... cut the bull and drop a point. Best I've shot in that is a 288... which is where I got the $15 gift card at... that still isn't here! :mad:

They actually "require" that you shoot the target in 30 minutes... but like this match, time is on the honor system.

As for me, Once I started shooting pellets on the match target paper I usually end up consuming a max of 20 - 25 seconds per bulls so all in all it would be about less than 10 minutes. My problem is that if I spent too much time looking at the bulls it makes my vision fuzzy and I lose that 3 - 5 seconds calm moments in between breaths. Only after the 20 shots was made that I take my coffee and rest, then analyze what happened.

Yep, that's it. It's a once a month match with a $15 Pyramyd Air gift card going to the winner. Tough target, tough rules.

Because I shoot round nose, field target type pellets, and don't have a spotting scope... I sometimes have to get up and go look at the target to see where the impact actually is.
The paper frequently tears in such weird ways, even with a backer, that you can't tell where you hit until you fold it all back and find the center of the impact. Adds to my time if I have to do it 5-6 times or more.

Too bad I haven't found a wadcutter that these 97s like. Maybe I should get a 60X spotting scope huh? :lol:
