I spent the last few months shopping around for a sub compact .45 and eventually found the Taurus PT145 (was gonna go with the Springfield XD). Polymer is one thing, but I never was a fan of Taurus, however a few friends who've fired and/or own this pistol have nothing but good things to say about it (2nd and 3rd generation models). Reviewers of the gun also had lots of positive comments so I figured I'd give it a try. Plus, Taurus's lifetime unconditional warranty added to the appeal...

I brought this baby home today. She's not bad in size for carry and holds 10+1 .45 rounds. Can't wait to visit the range with this...
