B2? I presume. It looks like the one I have. About 600fps and direct sear trigger. Fair accuracy. Neat to find stuff like that. Isn't that the second air rifle you have stumbled on?

this is a slavia 618
yes it is the second rifle the first was the 2260(which the wife loves), i paid 25 for each of them.
i need rear sights for this one, and probably a seal and it may need to be reblued after i get all the rust off it.

What do you use as rust remover? Years back when I used to refinish gun parts I tried this stuff called Evapo-Rust. I just soaked rusty parts in in overnight and the next day the metal looked like there never was rust on it. I used that stuff quite a bit and loved it.

Oh okay cool. Yeah if you do try something else, give that evapo rust stuff a try. You won't even need to scrub it after you pull it out the next day other than to polish it up - all the rust would have just pretty much evaporated off the metal. A really bad rust case I recall was a colt 1903 pistol I was refinishing. It was heavily rusted to the point where I had a really hard time getting the gun field stripped. After soaking overnight though, it was as if the rust just mysteriously disappeared. Well, it was still there but all sitting in a thick layer in the bottom of the container. The rest of the liquid as per the instructions is reusable minus the layer on the bottom.
