I wasn't home to take delivery. Figures, I go back to work and my toy shows up. I had my wife unwrap it whilst I anxiously waited on the phone. "I like the sights, it has a red thingy on the front and green ones on the back" I asked her to open the barrel and take a look at the bore and talked her through how she may need to slap the barrel to break it open. Well, according to her, I got one of the RWS off center bored barrels. DAMNIT! I haven't even seen my new 34 Panther yet and I already want to send it back. Why the hell can't those damned Germans bore a barrel straight. Hell, the Chinese can do it and so can the Spanish! Maybe it's not as bad as I'm guessing, but if she can see that the hole is off, then so can I.:mad: I know people say that it doesn't affect the rifle's accuracy, I just think it's bull shit that every time I crack the barrel on this thing, I'm going to be looking at the poor QC that RWS wasn't known for up until recently.

I Wish! I'm going to be away for four long days with a terrible itch to shoot a new rifle. I'll give a review of my findings with some pics when I get back.
