Jon, brought over a Storm XT the other day and me to see what I might could do with it. I played around with it a little bit, polish here and there, new spring, seal, fixed up the guide and top hat and tweaked the trigger some. Got it put back together and fired off 5 pellets, then pulled out the chrony 9 shots were 891-895, the 10th was off at 901.5, I think she's good to go.:thumb: I set up a target at 20yrds today and shot a couple of 5 shot groups, all could be covered with a nickle.

Only tried CPHP's, still need to try a few others, I think she can do better.

That's actually a whole lot better than when I was shooting her and she did worst on chps for me. How's the sear/piston holding up?

I got my Storm back today, from gettin it tuned; I haven't had a chance to really put any led through it yet. Tomorrow for sure, but I was wondering if I can put the stock spring in the Recon? Or would it be compatible? Or do you think it would help or hurt?

i put a stock G1 spring in my recon so the storm spring should do it.

I put a storm spring in my recon and it works great. Just be ready for heavier recoil and make sure you secure those scope mounts really well. The 2 piece I was using was fine with the stock recon spring, but with the storm spring they kept sliding no matter how much I'd clean it and loctite it. A good one piece mount (like the accushots) should hold up fine...
