I guess my freshly tuned Storm XT is settling down a bit or I am learning how to shoot it. The trigger went from one extreme to the other but I like this extreme better, just takes some getting used to; none of my powder burners have a trigger even close to the GRTIII so this is new territory for me. But I think now I will have to have the trigger on my Winchester 30-06 worked on.
Tonight I shot from 20 yards: CPHP, the RWS Meisterklugen match 8.2 gr, and the RWS Superdome.
It definitely likes the CPHP's and the match pellets the best although the match doesn't suit my needs. The Superdome was all over the place.
I guess it's good it likes the cheaper CPHP's over the more expensive Superdomes (CPHP $6.46 for 500 at Wal Mart :D). Now I gotta try some predators, what would be perfect is for the CPHP and the predator to have the same POI. So I can have a plinker and a hunter without doing adjustments......too much to ask for I guess.
In the CPHP picture, I didn't shoot that hole completely out obviously, there was a little bit of ragged paper just barely hanging on which fell out. Also had the one flyer which was me. Now I just gotta zero in so i can punch out that bull.
