I'm in Daphne,AL. if you want to get together for some lead slingin. Hi,nice to meet you.I'll be glad to take you up on your offer.....................Robin Robin A 12-04-2008, 08:23 AM Welcome Robin! I'm in NW Florida and Splash is not too far just north of me. Looks like we've got a few up in this corner here! Hi Jon,where in NW Fl. are you?I'm in Pace, about as Northwest as you can get.............Robin Jon 12-04-2008, 08:34 AM Not too far from you - I'm right by NAS in Pensacola... Robin A 12-04-2008, 11:04 AM I work at NAS,the Blues hangar.Where's the best place around here for selection, pellets, guns, etc.?Where do you shoot? Jon 12-04-2008, 11:18 AM There isn't a huge selection around here. If I want crosmans and gamo pellets, I usually get them at Academy on Davis. In Daphne there's a new Bass Pro Shop there with a decent selection of pellets, but their rifles are a little on the high side. I've only been there once but will make it a point to drop in there for pellets when I'm that area. I shoot at home mostly indoors and sometimes out the back yard where I have about 30 yards to play with. WBZsDAD 12-04-2008, 12:46 PM I think I may be the only grown man in SOUTH Florida that shoots pellets guns......maybe I should move North, I mention our hobby to people around here and they kind of look at you funny and say Pellet guns?? Jon 12-04-2008, 12:49 PM All my friends acted the same way when I first got into the hobby. We're all powder gun fans, but one day I decided I needed an air rifle to rid me of some rats. That's when I got hooked. They still laugh when I mention it but as soon as I get them shooting I know they're gonna get hooked too... Robin A 12-04-2008, 05:06 PM I bought a RWS 34 for my son(he's 37) for Christmas, big mistake to go shopping for a gun for someone else. He's waiting for it impatiently. He lives in Ma.and has a "turkey problem".I'm going up on the 26th to help him out..............Robin craigfperry 12-04-2008, 05:11 PM i'm in R.I. and would love to help with the turkey problem if need be. WBZsDAD 12-04-2008, 05:11 PM Turkey problem.......hmmm sounds like a good problem to have. |
