I highly recommend you don't use those - they won't hold for very long. I've tried everything (short of welding them on) to keep the gamo 2-piece and 1-piece mounts from moving on a springer and while it may hold for a while, after about 50 rounds I started noticing creep and have buggered up the stop hole on every rifle I've tried them on. On one of them, the scope creeped and took all the non-skid tape with it. I always order this mount when I need one for a springer:

I have never had an accushot mount (1-piece w/4 screws per ring) move on me when I mounted it correctly. I use some denatured alcohol and clean up the rifle's dovetails and scope mount clamps, clean up the mount screws and stop pin as well, then mount it with blue loctite nice and snug and let it dry overnight (don't loctite the scope ring screws, just the base screws and stop pin). You can save the gamo rings for a low powered gun, pcp or co2 gun.

I have four of these and have never had a problem with them. They have 5 hold down screws and are of good quality. The seller sends them priority mail and usually arrive in two days.

This is one of my favorite scopes. Has a mil dot reticle, adjustable objective, and has held up on my magnum springer. I did have to return one due to it not holding zero, but, it was a no questions asked kind of deal. Hold on to your receipt.

If you live by a lake, first throw the scope and mount in the lake then do what Jon suggests and go to the link and order the accushot mount. One thing to keep in mind though......they told me all i needed for a 40mm scope was the Medium mount..........NOT TRUE you need the hi profile mount for a 40 mm objective scope.

I have this scope for $69.00 from wal mart and I love it http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10248654 The only thing with this scope is the mounts that come with it are for a typical rifle rail and will not work with your pellet rifle/.22 rimfire. But no worries because you will want to order the accushot anyhow.

You can also view it on Center Points website here http://www.centerpointoptics.com/adventure_class/4-16x40/

Here's a scope I get when I want something inexpensive, but with lots of extras (AO/Mildot):

I've never had issues with these ones and they're also very light...
