You guys probably already know this but thought I would share it if you didn’t. I have found high end pellets at most gun shops I’ve been to.

Man. Where I live you're lucky to find any .22 pellets. Even dick's and Walmarx carry only the cheap daisy wadcutters. Once, I found 2 tins of cheap crosman pointed. Now I don't even bother-just order them online. It's really too bad-I would rather buy locally.

I've found Crossman Premier at Wal-Mart, I always look when I am in one and they seem to be different types every time I look. Dick's seems to carry mostly Gamo, sometimes I can find good one there too. To me getting anything local is better then on-line unless I can save a lot of money but shipping normally off-sets that. Check your local gun shops, I can purchase Beemen Extra heavy for cheaper then buying on-line.

Yeah.. it has. Moved here from Atlanta in 96 to raise our kids and have watched the city grow. Do you hang out at the Carolina Shooters forum at all?

Chartech, Make sure and stop by Carolina sporting arms off South Bvld. They have good supplies of Beeman pellets-cheap.$6-9.00/tin. Basically the same prices as Pyramid air, you just don't have to pay shipping. Course pyramids got that buy 3 get one free deal...thats nice.

I end up buying my springer pellets from e-bay, as they are made in england(logun penetrators 21.5gr.) and noone imports them anymore. They are the most accurate pellets i've ever found. I also use the JSB exact jumbo(18gr.) from straight shooters.

I got lucky with my 2260 because the only pellet i've tried that really shoots well is the walmart daisy's that are $2.97 for 250. Can't beat that!!:D

Yeah, Carolina Sporting Arms is just a couple miles from me and I get all my Beeman there. Hyatt Gun shop on Wilkinson Blvd also has a pretty good selection of pellets. It's been a few months since I've been in there but I think they had a good selection of .22 pellets.

Hyatts has gone to pieces when it comes to air. Their stock is way low and there are only beeman ft's and crow mags in .22. I noticed CSA was low on the .22 stuff as well.

.177 is everywhere..

I'll keep ordering mine but i sure wish Charlotte had their own airgun store. If i had the funds i'd be the first. Been dreaming about it for a year or so now....sigh.. - JonnyRebs airgun emporium -, J.R.

I'd be your first customer. What part of Charlotte are you in? I'm in the South Park area, Park and Archdale.

Out past the airport, very close to the whitewater park. Moores chapel rd is our closest main rd. Used to be able to shoot anything out here, then they built a school across from me:( Now i keep it to air...except on sundays:D

Being able to shoot in the backyard is what got me into adult air gunning but I would love to be able to shoot anything even if it was only on Sundays. You must be a happy man every Sunday, if you can find any ammo these days.

With the ammo drying up, i'm kind of holding on to what i've got. Thats where the airgun has taken over as my choice of firearm for most shoots. Sure notice the difference when shooting the powderburners too, accuracy comes much easier:D

Might as well add my "GREAT DEAL" to the thread. As everybody knows, pyramid has a buy 3 and get the cheapest 4th tin free deal. I needed some RWS hobby .22 pellets and of course there is nowhere to get them local. Shipping on the single tin, whether through a company or ebay was 7-8.00 bucks so...i went to pyramid and got 500 of the rws pellets for $12.00. I picked out a 500 pack of premiers for $8 and 2 tins of $2.97 daisy(they shoot good in my 2260)pellets. My 4th daisy tin was free and with the 10% off coupons they keep sending me, i got the 3rd. daisy tin free too. Had to pay 8 bucks shipping but still...:thumb: J.R.
