I have put about 300 round through it so far and it is awesome..It will shoot 10s all day if you do your part..I read somewhere you don't have to worry about this pistol holding you back and that is definitely true..The trigger is great breaks crisp and feels the same shot after shot..The pump is easy I think 13 pounds..It feels a bit muzzle heavy witch I personally like..I had to purchase the left handed grips and they are plastic grips on this gun but they fit well and feel good in my hands..Everything seems very well made very tight and put together really well..You could spend a lot more on a pistol but I don't see any reason too with how this gun shoots..

I put a scope on using this mount http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Air_Venturi_Scope_Base_Weaver_Picatinny_Rail_Fits_ IZH_46M/3077 works very well and easy to put on..I might give making some wood grips a try but for now I'm just going to enjoy shooting it...

Pike, thanks for the review. I know it’s been up there for a while but I’m thinking I need a SSP pistol to add to the collection and the 747 and 717 are starting to get my attention. I haven’t done a whole lot of comparison, so, beside the price tag, what makes the 747 a step up from the 717?

The barrel and the trigger..Choked Lothar Walther barrel and a metal adjustable trigger..The 717s trigger is plastic and not adjustable other than that same gun from what I understand..So the 50 extra bucks is for those two things..It is not very pellet picky Meisters,gamo match,and avanti match all shoot very well..It's the quietest pistol I have ever shot no recoil and all you here is the pellet slapping the paper..I really need to practice more with this gun and I think I can get those 5 yard pistol scores in the 190s..I put a scope on it and bench rested it at 10 yards and it out shot all of my rifles up tell I got my disco..
