teflon is not very strong, but i don't have personal experiance with the stuff you are talkin about.

Thanks Splash , I got a little project gun and it has a leather seal and I want to go with synthetic instead.:thumb:

Phil, you can make a button, that screws on and use an apex seal. When the rain stops I'l go out to the shop and snap a pic of one.

Yeah those screw on ones are pretty slick - saw them myself last weekend...
