just purchased a new airgun, now i've got to get rid of some to put the money back and keep my sweetheart happy:nod: i am selling my .25 walther talon magnum (quattro) and my "nice" .177 x10.
talon mag, quattro trigger : i have de-burred the cocking slot and other stamped parts of the compression tube, installed an apex piston seal from ARH, lubed with moly and tar from ARH, fresh breech seal from factory, and i filled the butt stock with colorplace clear all-purpose silicone sealant. it comes with a mounted 4x leapers fixed parrallax scope (35 m parallax setting) zeroed @ 30 yards with H&N 'cudas, and the soft case in the picture. it also comes with a 350 count tin of jsb exact kings i just ordered from pyramyd as well as the original box and manual. it's been fired about 2,300 times. at 30 yards, i can keep 5 shots inside an inch and a half shooting this gun off-hand. it is a bit hold sensitive but not as bad as you'd expect, plus it balances nicely just slightly weight-forward in front of the trigger guard since the butt stock has been filled. i payed $200($199.99) for this at pyramydair.com, and right now they have them priced at $210. altogether this is over a $250 value- not including the upgrade onthe scope. this also does not include the work i've done. i'm not a pro tuner, but this is my favorite gun. by reading my blogs, you can learn this gun's entire history. screws are worn, because it took some trial and error to get her how i liked her, but was very careful working with her. i love to shoot this gun! powerful and accurate! saving money on ammo was a huge selling point to get my wife to agree with letting me purchase yet another airgun, so the .25 has to go. first $200 takes it, and i will cover shipping. i will ship it after i recieve payment, or after the pellets get here if it sells before that. i can't do a money back guarantee, i have to put this money in the bank. if the gun fails, i can't afford to buy your parts. i can do simple repairs, however, and if it fails over the next year i'll do my best to fix it for the cost of parts and shipping.
stoeger x10: this is the same gun i hunted with last year. it was also my first tune. i've de-burred it, gave her fresh ARH apex piston seal, fresh factory breech seal, ARH moly and tar, and a maccari E3650 spring from ARH. it also has the GTX-II trigger from Archer Airguns ($30 value). I am throwing in my tarantula spring with this one. i just pulled it out of my other x10- i don't recommend installing it without a custom guide. comes with the the E3650 installed which works great with the factory guides. CPUM's and CPHP's will group under an inch at thirty yards. with crosman pointed they open up to maybe 1 and 3/8". plus the gun is easy to shoot, by no means hold sensitive. i payed $79 for this gun new, but on the internet it usually goes for $110-$120 new. GTX-II trigger, E3650 spring, Tarantula spring, and apex seal altogether are over a $70 value. plus i'm including the soft case in the deal. has a couple nicks and scratches but it is a solid gun and overall, i think it's nice. asking for $90, i'll cover shipping. again i'm not a pro, but for the price of parts and shipping, i'll fix what i can. not re-crowning barrels or anything but i can easily drop in a mainsprings, or guide, or do anything that just requires replacing a part. for a tuner this deal is a bargain!
buy them both for $280 (save $1 off the original deal) plus i'll throw in a free 500-count tin of CPHP's.
