Well, I'm gonna try be as honest as possible about this gun.. it's not especially worth it. if your debating between this gun and something cheaper but worried about noise or something, get the cheaper one. please. this gun is powerful, no doubt. but it lacks in accuracy.. mostly because of the scope. but seeing as the scope is the only way to aim... it really takes the aim down... i took a chipmunk today from about a foot away but it took 3 shots because i had to take the scope off because the turrets failed to continue to work! it is consistently shooting at the bottom of the scope.. and it took approximately 500 rounds just to get it to shoot in line with the "y axis" of the scope.. (idk what it's called..) the trigger is fine i am not sure what most people complain about, maybe they've been introduced to finer triggers but i've had crap triggers for quite a while so anything but crap is welcome :)

the pros however are the weaver mounts, the power and the shrouded barrel and sling!
The power is... ridiculous. i was shooting at about 25-30 yards trying to sight it in but i would hear it hit the trees and fly between em around 100-130 yards behind it! and the chipmunk had little to no vital organs left when we skinned it.. heart was exploded along with many other organs. the shrouded barrel along with the nitro piston does make it quieter, however a spring gun after a good amount of rounds will be nearly as quiet or just a little bit louder. the sling was perfect. i was looking for a gun with a sling for a while and while i had one on my b3 it just wasn't cutting it. the sling fits nice (even if it occasionally loosens.)

I truthfully was very dissapointed with my gun.. i just don't have the time to shoot it to get a different scope or continuously try to sight it in.. i get maybe half an hour to an hour to shoot per day on the days i get to shoot so i was looking for a gun that i could sight in quickly and have it be ready. and i feel that the lack of sights really makes this gun unreliable. if you had a great scope that wasn't broken and a good amount of time it would be a pretty good gun however it is not right for me.
Hope my review helped if anyone was considering this gun! :)

It appears by your description that the airgun itself is pretty nice. The trouble is the junk scope that is on it. I never like to buy airgun packages that include a scope, as they are usually bottom end quality, as your experience validates. I would rather pick out my own scope. If you like the airgun otherwise, I would reconsider and keep it. Maybe the manufacturer or retailer would exchange the scope under the warranty? Good luck!

i'd like to see them with decent open sights, maybe like the muzzle break from the super streak. it is my understandong that they actually save money over the cost of manufacturing and installing good irons by throwing in a cheap scope. same goes for rifle/scope combos targeting deer hunters. you see the scope combo for $50 less than the same rifle would go for with nice irons and jump for it, but the recoil of the .30-06 wrecks the cheap scope internally before you finish firing your first group on the range. i bought a savage scope/rifle combo when i was 19 and experienced this for the first time.

i have had many problems with scopes and i feel i can't trust a scope. i would like to, but i've had 2 now break on me, the centerpoint that came with the gun and also a 3-9x50 leapers utg scope. anyone suggest a scope that's not crap? and fairly cheap.. i don't wanna pay what i payed for the gun for a scope..
