I'm not but I think I could build a couple of those. Figured I'm probably going to need some sort of gun rack soon at my current rate.

I use that same thing for my "getting-out-of-control-obsession" with fishing rods in the garage.

works pretty well if you space them right and can find a good deal on the hooks (they are usually pretty cheap).

Kinda nice to know I'm not the only one around that likes that old Russian rifle.

Thanks! Never really built anything from wood before so I think it came out well. The base is 26” X 11” or is it 11” X 26” anyhow pretty small footprint for 8 rifles. As long as the base is square the rest is pretty easy.

Char that looks great! I do work with wood -- some not a cabinet-maker or anything, but handy like everyone else here. I have a low end gun safe that is bulging at the seams, so I think I will use you picture for inspiration. I have some old pine barn wood scraps I need to do something with, I'll be sure and post a pic when done.
