so, today i resighted in my storm xt after i had shot a rabbit with it and wounded it, discovering the P.O.I (thats point of impact) was changed after someone had moved the rifle and put it on the scope. as i was shooting, i came across a problem. the gun shot right on the first bottom mill dot. it was still there after 20 klicks. wondering what was going on, i remembered a post i read where one gun was shooting his gun and changed grips, changing the poi to shoot 1 inch lower! i then put my hand as close as i could get it towards the cocking gap. i shot it 3 times. now, i did not change the elevation, but i was shooting 3/8 of a inch higher than before! before this i had my hand in the middle of the cocking gap and the trigger guard, now that i had it closer to the cocking gap rather than in the middle the P.O.I changed that much! i posted it here because everyone has accuracy issues with their springers eventually, and for the newbies: if youve tried everything else, but nothing is working, than try this, it may work.
pics come later

When I sight my gun in, as I move the crosspoint I always tap the top of which clicker I just turned. Tap it about 3 or 4 times. It usually works for me...
