im going fishing there in 3 weeks taking a personal boat from here to there..my Q is??do i need a passport to do this?

yeah thats the info i get..none needed..but ive 2 brothers that cruise the open seas and they say get a passport..i say bullshit..i aint payin $300 plus for no reason...thats like a couple more G1's.lol

Paul call around to make sure. I read a news article about travel restrictions tightening up a few days ago and that if not already passports will be required for ALL out of US trips. Hopefully you don't for this trip, but it would be a good idea to apply for one anyway when you can since you'll probably need it in the future and right now they take pretty long to get...

Paul I don't think that would be enough time unless you payed big dollars. I persononally wouldn't leave the country without one. A passport is something understood universally. Maybe the plane will have to divert to Cuba due to engine problems...:D

been stocking up the boat the last 2 days..we sail wednesday.we'll be gone 10- 14 days.boy do i need this getaway.

check this shit..altho pirates aint so bad over there..my bro Greg has made the crossing quite a few times.and he says while your anchord off the coast every nite a speed boat or 2 come blasting up and check you out..looking for weakness.they WILL bust a cap if they can..i asked what do we do..hes says theres 4 heavy pistals on board..dont hesitate...then he proceeds to tell me the time he let go a flairgun right in the middle of the rat boat...he's bad/mad cool.:)

Have a couple molotov cocktails ready just in case as well. One shoots like mad and covers while the other lights and tosses them into the pirates' boat. Hopefully you don't have any runins with pirates though...
